Westminster’s Language Service provide Translation and Interpretation services in dozens of languages for schools and other departments of the city council.
Bookings are entered into the system by customers and Westminster’s call centre staff. Translation staff are automatically allocated to bookings, and log on from home to accept or refuse the work. They then enter the details of completed bookings, uploading translated documents where necessary.
Flexible reports of all the bookings completed can then be viewed, totalling up the chargeable hours, providing invoicing details and allowing Key Performance Indicators for the translators to be viewed.
